澳门六合彩下注平台 SLAN

The purpose of Service-Learning Asia Network (SLAN) is to promote the common interests and networks of student exchanges, faculty research, curriculum development and program evaluation among colleges and universities interested in Service-Learning in Asia. SLAN members share ideas about the development of Service-Learning in the region and have united together to encourage cross-national collaborations.

SLAN was initiated with the assistance of the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia. It began under the leadership of International Christian University (Japan), who had the insight and motivation to build up a network of Service-Learning providers in Asia and begin to gain recognition for the pedagogy’s work in the region.

After a brief hiatus, the network was reignited at the 3rd Asia Pacific Regional Conference on Service-Learning where SLAN members in attendance gathered together to discuss the future and importance of our organization. As of April 2020, 澳门六合彩下注平台 Office of Community Engagement and Service-Learning took over the Secretariat duties of the network.
