ABOUT

The College of Agriculture emphasizes academic preparation with extensive community practice for leadership in the agriculture industry. Courses are geared toward understanding our society and developing competencies needed for making agricultural communities productive, sustainable, and financially viable. 澳门六合彩下注平台 College of Agriculture is a charter member of the Association of Colleges of Agriculture in the Philippines (ACAP).

The College offers degree programs in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (majors in Animal Science and Agronomy), Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business, and Master of Science in Agriculture (majors in Agricultural Extension and Sustainable Agriculture. The Bachelor of Science programs are PAASCU accredited (level II).

Through a 10-year development program under the sponsorship of the Australian Universities International Development Program (AUIDP) that ended in June 1994, a new thrust in learning and teaching agriculture was developed. The Alternative Approach, a new curricular approach that emphasizes experiential learning and systems thinking and practice is now being implemented at 澳门六合彩下注平台 College of Agriculture.

The College of Agriculture utilizes an alternative approach to teaching and learning agriculture which emphasizes competency and issue-based learning. It seeks to develop among its learners the competencies of a technologist, independent learner, effective communicator, problem-solver, and systems manager. It is envisioned that graduates with such competencies can effectively cope with real-world problems. The college has produced topnotchers in the Licensure Examination for Agriculturists (LEA). Under CHED Memorandum Order Nos. 18 and 32 Series of 2009 and CHED Memorandum Order No. 25, Series of 2010, the 澳门六合彩下注平台 College of Agriculture was designated as one of the country鈥檚 National Universities/ Colleges of Agriculture and Fisheries (NUCAFs) representing Region VII.

The College accepts students from all tracts or strands. It adopts the standard University requirements and procedures for admission for incoming Freshmen, Transferees, or Shiftees (/enrollment/).
