Guiding Principles

The Center shall serve as an academy of learning for聽scholars who will be trainers of Mission and teaching聽Missiology in Asia and throughout the world. Thus, the聽Center seeks:聽arning that is creative and

  2. To provide a mission training program and a curriculum rooted 聽in 聽the theological context of Asia聽and grounded in contemporary reality.
  3. To equip students to become trainers and teachers聽of mission in 聽Asia, integrating 聽skills and knowledge in development that 聽enable them 聽to engage聽religious, 聽impoverished 聽the multi-cultural, multi-聽and conflict-torn societies of Asia.

To 聽offer a training program that integrates the disciplines of 聽 theology and development with experiences gathered from 聽actual immersion in mission聽realities.聽The International Center for Mission Studies in Asia聽understands mission as a holistic task of bringing, sharing, and witnessing to the truth and power of the Gospel to all peoples聽in various nations and regions of the聽world.
